- 1 ½ lbs / 700 g Ground lamb
- 1 Onion - finely chopped
- 3 Cloves garlic - minced
- 3 cups / 750 ml Tomatoes - diced (fresh or canned)
- 3 tbsp / 30 ml Tomato paste
- 1/3 cup / 75 ml Dry red or white wine
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Dried oregano leaves
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon
- 3 cups / 750 ml Béchamel Sauce (see below)
- 1 tbsp / 15 ml Lemon Juice
- 1 cup / 250 ml Crumbled feta cheese
